
Dayle Johnson taught vocal music at Bertrand Community Schools and Ord Junior/Senior High School. During that time she directed auditioned choirs, show choirs, men’s and women’s choruses and small ensembles as well as taught guitar and general music. She retired from public school teaching and has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Omaha teaching Music Education classes which included beginning guitar and vocal methods. Ms. Johnson also works for the College of Education where she has been a University Supervisor for Student Teachers and presently serves as an Instructional Coach for Practicums. In addition to working at the University, she has been an adjudicator for the Omaha Public Schools Middle School Choral Festival, the UNL Midwest Cup Show Choir Competition and also has served as a substitute teacher for the Millard Public School District. Ms. Johnson is presently giving private guitar lessons at Crash, Bang, Boom located in Countryside Village.
