Hannah Fisher

Hannah is a third-year college student at UNO, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education with a focus on piano and instrumental music. She believes in the power of music to bring joy into the lives of all students while also teaching them the valuable skills of dedication, tenacity, and self-reflection. During her time at UNO, she has been privileged to work with and learn from truly excellent musicians and music educators. These teachers have impressed on her the importance of respect, kindness, and human connection when teaching students of any age.

Hannah has presented at two conferences hosted by the Music Teachers National Association and will present at the national conference of that organization in March 2021. She is a member of the University Honors Program, the Collegiate Music Teachers Association, and the National Association for Music Education. Additionally, Hannah serves as vice president for membership of UNO’s chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, an honorary service organization that seeks to cultivate leadership, service, and musicianship through the medium of the college band. Hannah studies with Dr. Kristin Taylor, Dr. Shelly Cooper, and Professor Stacie Haneline.
